About Brad

My name is Brad Stallcup. Im a humble drummer from the slightly misunderstood state of Arkansas. I am not a hillbilly - this I promise you. More importantly, I am a drummer! One thing I like to do is keep videos and pictures of EVERYTHING I work on. This webpage does just that, but also lets YOU see it, so I try to make the videos well edited and the picture galleries neat. Overall I want to make my videos enjoyable for you, so be prepared for a dash of humor too.

I fell IN LOVE with the drums after my first lessson. I was 13 and was really into Goldfinger, so I wanted to play all their stuff (and did eventually). Goldfinger taught me to push my limits from the begining and I've learn that I LOVE to hear music that goes far over my head and then to start break it down piece by piece. So naturally, when I stumbled upon Dream Theater's SCORE DVD playing on HDNet (this was in 2006) I knew they'd be the gift that never stops giving. Many of my videos are heavily soaked in Dream Theater and my playing has a lot of Mike Portnoy infuence. As of lately I've been heavily soaked in Mike Mangini's playing which is taking my independance and interdependance to a new level. Ultimate I love drumming and I love new challenges and when I grasp them I will most likey put up a video so YOU TOO can learn in a new understanding.
